About Zante & our area Vassilikos

Zante is renowned for its beauty since the Homeric times.

The beauty of island is particularly evident in the hospitality of its residents, as well as the mild climate of the island which acts to create an exceptionally beautiful natural location.

Due to the tourist expansion of Zante, the construction of hotels, apartments, traditional villas and rented rooms took place to accommodate the multitude of visitors.

One of the most attractive locations of Zante is the village of Vasilikos, situated 12km South East from the town.

Porto Zorro, Ionio, Banana, Gerakas (the habitat of the Caretta-Caretta sea turtle) and Daphne are beaches within the Vassilikos vicinity.

Within a small distance between 400 – 800metres from our apartments are located: the sea with its beatyful beaches ‘Ionio’ and ‘Banana’ (ideal for childrens) the shops of Vassilikos , the famous restaurant "Kostas' Brother" and "Logos Bar" for drinks and dancing set in a natural summertime environment.

For some of the best lived moments of your summer we make available a speed boat for trips to the small islands of Laganas “Peluzo” and “Marathonisi” (Turtle island) as well as the blue caves at Keri – Marathia.
